Today I spent the eve of my 28th birthday with my family. There is this small tree outside of my grandmothers home in Frankfort that’s just starting to bloom. I love the precious moments like these. I’m so blessed to have a loving family who takes time out to make a thoughtful dinner, sing me songs and give me delicious cake! I guess as you get older you really do learn to value the small the things more and more.
